Levels & Level Barriers
Apr 12, 2023The first thing to know about when playing in a game is the levels. By now, you’ve already heard me use the word levels a few times. And that’s because levels are fundamental to game play.
Games always have levels for you to pass. Completing a level either means you have won something or you have passed to another, higher level. There are usually many levels to any game. When you pass a level, the next level opens up for you. As you pass levels, you also usually build skills and gain accomplishments.
Applying this to your real estate game turns your personal goals into conquering levels. Doing this provides you with a great sense of self-fulfillment and satisfaction. Most of all, you will show yourself what you are made of as you pass these levels. And this feeling will keep you inspired! You will want to keep conquering levels in your game! Celebrating your level wins is another way to keep up your momentum! As you make it through your levels, you might even surprise yourself with your rate of accomplishment!
In real estate, there are many levels on the way to becoming a top producer. In my real estate game, the harder I work to pass my levels, the sooner I achieve my next goal.
It’s also important to know that no matter how many levels you pass, you can always create more levels and keep challenging yourself! As you move through your levels, you will start dreaming of higher levels. Before you know it, your game will expand and get even bigger and better.
I’ve learned to never place limits on what is possible. I am also open to all new possibilities and more levels in the game. When you get into your game, you will be able to see this way too.
Next, let’s talk about the reality of advancing levels. Levels come with level barriers -
You can’t just jump levels. Levels always appear with predictable barriers and entry points. There is also a
structure and order to the levels in your real estate game.
With practice, you will get to know when you are starting a new level. You will also get to know when the next barriers might show you. You can train yourself to anticipate them. And you can also prepare yourself for them.
As you move through levels in your game, you will start to recognize where you are and when you will have the next opportunity to level up! You will also get better at seeing what is ahead of you in your game. That’s important and will make you stronger in it. You won’t be surprised or knocked off your real estate game because you will already know how to act and how to smash those barriers to level up. As you follow this course, you will get better at observing, tracking, and self-monitoring your levels and goals. The more attention you put into seeing levels, the more conscious you are of them. Soon, you will always be able to see them and you’ll always be ready to overcome the next level barriers.
The main level barriers you will face in real estate prospecting are:
your own fears,
client objections,
poor strategy management,
poor time management,
poor prospecting skills,
and poor lead management.
Each time you master the skills required to overcome these barriers, you will level up. We’ll go over all of these in detail later in the course. Many of these have an entire module. By the end of this course, you will be able to face and overcome almost any level barrier on your way to reaching your real estate goals.
