My Thoughts on YOLO
Apr 17, 2023Hustle gets a bad rap and a lot of people argue that you should embrace the opposite YOLO.
I am completely adverse to Yolo culture.
To me, YOLO is a very dangerous way to play the game. There's a lot of risk associated with this approach. It is an expensive way to live, not because of what you're spending, but because of what you're losing time in your game. Time to put in the work on the front end so that you can reap the rewards on the back end. If you wait or work slower because of YOLO.
You'll stress later, there will be less time for you to achieve your personal goals. Remember when I said that there's few people at the top and it gets easier when you're there?
Well, YOLO is another reason why most people don't get there. The route to the bigger goal is too long, so they take a different YOLO route that doesn't lead to their goals. YOLO doesn't support long term success in the real estate game. My general game strategy is about putting in the work on the front end, where it's easier. It's easier on the body physically and mentally and it's ultimately requires less energy, years loss energy. If you want to reach your personal revenue goals and have a balanced life long term you need to work in the beginning without giving up when money is flowing steadily in your game. You can relax more. Until then you have to hustle
