Remember Your Goals
May 03, 2023Remembering your revenue goal number and your house number goal keeps you inspired. It will prevent you from feeling discouraged at the door. These numbers can propel you to your next door and ultimately to your next level.
For example, if your revenue goal number is $400,000, remember that you only need to sell 13 homes. That’s around 1 home each month. You can also remember that you only need to get 1 listing appointment a week to do that. That’s a very accessible goal. You can also endure many NOs when you know you only need one yes a week. When you are knocking daily, you can even go entire days without a YES and easily meet this goal.
Remember, it’s crazy how quickly you can meet your numbers. This is especially true when you have a game plan to knock daily or at least 100 doors per week. This is why you want to ALWAYS keep your number handy and front of mind. I suggest writing it on your game board in your office and keeping it on your phone. Write it down in as many places as you can. It will seriously keep you inspired and immune to all of those NOs. It will also propel you to keep leveling up your overall real estate game.
I encourage you to write affirmations with your number goals on post-it notes. This helps you keep these goals front of mind. I’ve included a template to help you do this. You can place them around your work station, in your car or anywhere that will help keep you focused. Also, don’t forget to do all of the other exercises and action steps I’ve talked about here!
