The Learning Opportunity
May 04, 2023The last perspective shift is to treat rejection as a learning opportunity.
As I keep mentioning, rejection is part of real estate. Mentally strong agents understand that rejection is not about failing, but rather about learning the lesson that they can gain from it.
Rejection is also part of putting yourself out there. Without rejection, you can't learn as much or get strong in your game. When you think of rejection this way, you may even start to welcome rejection as a learning opportunity. And adopting this attitude keeps you moving forward in your game. When you use this perspective, you are able to transform every rejection into an opportunity for personal development. Use each rejection to get stronger, better, faster and more confident in all aspects of your game. A strong agent always asks themselves What did I get out of this?
Or what did this teach me, you would be astonished at how strong you can become in the face of nose in this workplace. I have learned so much from rejection at the door, and I become a stronger agent than I ever thought possible. As you continue to inspire yourself forward in your door knocking, you will see how much you can learn and grow from rejection as well. If you are truly serious about leveling up your real estate career, you will learn to win at every door.
That's because it is a win. Whether you're using an experience to learn or grow. close doors and nose provide winning opportunities for growth. It won't be long until you begin to appreciate all the strength you're gaining from it. I've included another exercise to help you work through this idea of learning from rejection.
