How to Stay Calm
Sep 30, 2022When you start thinking about something as potentially stressful, it will immediately begin to impact you. Your body goes into a sort of alarm mode as it directs energy into trying to protect you. What actually happens is the opposite, it throws you off. You've probably had some moments in life when stressed or nerves kicked in and you felt unwell, your stomach became upset, you got a headache or your palms started to get sweaty. The bottom line is that none of this is good for you or your game. The way to avoid this is not to take rejection too seriously. Knowing that something stressful is going to come up in your day and your interactions help you steer away from fight or flight responses. accept rejection rather than fighting it. This is one of the most important things that you can do to manage rejection emotionally and physically. Thanks for watching today's video.
