Missed Shots Are Okay as a Winning Agent
Oct 07, 2022Your first perspective shift is this Do not take it personally, your goal is to get better. So your goal should be to keep showing up on the field to play. When you miss a shot, you don't take it personally, some of the miss shots have nothing to do with you. Not everyone wants or needs to list their home. The missed shot is not what you should be focusing on. You should be focusing on your effort to get better. As long as you're always getting better. Great. You were doing what you need to do. So keep going. When you're a solo agent, you may have a harder time with this. You think it's always your fault, you think that you didn't do something right? That's not the right way to think about it though. Think of it this way. If you go to soccer practice and you missed some shots you usually accepted it as part of the game. Hopefully, you have some good sportsmanship and just move on. You keep playing you don't go home and feel like a loser for the rest of your day or a week. You don't take it personally. You accept it as part of playing the game. You make some winning shots and you miss some shots. It's all part of the bigger picture.
