In your real estate game, 80% of your efforts will be focused on strategy and planning. As Einstein once explained, when you’ve planned well, you only need to spend 20% of your time executing.


Once you have done the work, you‘ll be able to fully direct your energy into taking action with your plan. Therefore, you’ll note that much of this course is about strategy and planning. As you move through this course, you will learn about all of the strategies and ways to plan your game. Once you have processed all of the pieces and been able to put them together in your own game, you can begin to meticulously execute your own plan towards your individual real estate goals.

When you apply this to your door knocking, you are arriving at the door prepared. You have a proven strategy for various situations that can happen when someone opens the door. You know you can get rejected and you’re ready for it. You’ve already thought this through as part of your strategy. You know what's going to happen. You’ve prepared your mindset, you’ve prepared what to say and you know exactly what to do when it happens. If you don’t have a plan in place for various scenarios, including someone's aggressive rejection, you might be startled and not know how to react. It might ruin your entire day and stop you from knocking on any other doors. When you have a strategy, and a plan for how it fits into your larger game, you know how to handle that situation and how to keep going. That’s why doing the strategy and planning first is critical to your success.

After all of the strategy and planning, that is when the true magic begins. It is in the execution of your strategies and planning that the rewards and dollars begin to enter. And that’s when you’ll feel even more empowered because you’ll start seeing the action turning into real rewards in the game. With every play that you execute in your game, you’ll begin to see powerful changes in your real estate game as you begin having the level of rewards in your career you truly deserve. That’s when you’ll start to build real excitement in this game.
