Team image Consistency when Door Knocking
Feb 27, 2023To get strong on a consistent team image and impression at the door is essential, including your style and mannerisms. Whenever I have success on the door, I knock on someone who's just like me. If the lead likes us, they want us both.
When there are two people with a style they like, it's an advantage. They like you as a team. You cannot control if a person wants to talk to you. However, you can control the odds, and people make first impressions at the door. And that impression can affect if they want to converse with you.
The fact is that everyone has different styles and personalities. You want to avoid whom you team with being the opposite. You don't want the homeowner to have a distinct impression of you from your teammates. You want your overall presence at the door to be the same. You want your image and the impression you leave to be generally consistent.
That way, it is evident to the homeowner. They either want to work with both of you, or they don't. They aren't saying no to you because they liked you but not your teammate. Either way, it's a strong yes or a decisive No. They're willing to trust both of you with their business or they aren't.
