FAQ - Is There Homework?
Is There Any Homework?
There isn’t any “mandatory homework” in this course. After you learn the theory behind certain real estate actions and strategies, you’ll be given action steps or exercises. It’s up to you to complete them. It’s always up to you to do the work. It’s up to you to hold yourself accountable and do the work.
FAQ - Who Am I? How Do I Know The Real Estate Secrets?
My Story & Story of Agent Renovation
I'm Ashley Nielsen and welcome to Agent Renovation.
Before this current evolution into Agent Renovation, it was just Ashley.
And the first thing for you to know about me is that I don't see real estate or the job and role of a realtor the way most other people see it. When I look at the world of real estate, I see possibilities for strategizing in every area of the industry.
When I started out in real estate, no one ever taught me it was a game though. I figured it out, made my plan, and stayed committed. I wanted to escape the herd of agents in my city and rise to the top of the game. I decided that I didn’t even want to be in the same lane as the over 14,000 other agents in my city. Rather than competing with 14,000 other agents, I taught myself to compete with myself and keep leveling up my goals and achievements. The only thing I was competing against was my own wins. When I figured out that game, all I had to do was put one step in front of the other. I put my head down and took one step forward each day while keeping my eyes on my goals and began reaching my real estate goals, one after another.
Then, when I wanted to switch lanes to where I could play at a much higher level, I decided to open my own office and raise my own team. I had already started my other brand, Soul Renovation, and I wanted to bring some of that spirit to raising the vibration and level of my real estate game. I was stepping into my own lane where I could set the rules, running my own office using everything I had learned and mastered in real estate up until that point. Challenging and competing with myself, I had accomplished goals and implemented strategies in my own real estate game. With my office, I wanted to elevate my real estate game to a new level, training other agents to do the same for themselves. That's when I started to not only look at the real estate game as my game but when I started to look at it from an overview perspective as being the bigger real estate game that anyone could learn to play. Opening that office took my game to new heights, but in different ways than I expected. It actually taught me how to deliver the ideas around my strategies and real estate gamification in a way that it could land for other agents.
Basically, I went through three stages of evolution in my game. I learned the lessons and gamification myself. Then I learned to implement strategies in my own game. Then, lastly. I had to learn how to teach others through my lessons so that they could implement the strategies in their agent game. Ultimately, I was able to raise a team of agents, some of whom had never sold real estate ever before in their lives, and turn them into highly profitable, extremely successful door knocking pros.
Opening up an office and training other agents, I learned a lifetime of real estate knowledge and it crystalized my view of real estate as a game. And through trial and error, I learned the best way to teach other agents how to play this game. Over the last five years with my office, I’ve had the ability to execute and test my strategies on a larger scale with agents of varied age, experience and personalities as well as in a fluctuating market. That gave me the ability to study and learn what consistently works even more than when I was just applying any of this on my own. I had an army of agent soldiers on the ground testing what I was teaching. With that large number of agents bringing me back data, I could get an even better read on all of the strategies. I could see what went right and what went wrong. I could see what material got them in the door and what material got the door slammed. At one point, I had 13 agents on the ground knocking every day, bringing me back all that information. I had the numbers to be able to look at the math and the metrics of door knocking on such a large scale while also being able to break things down very precisely. I learned how to craft rules, strategies and a bigger vision in the real estate game (literally with my own unique visual CRM system). I learned to break it all down into the steps everyone could understand so that they could see where and how they could pass levels in the game. I mastered the real estate game on an entirely new level and in a way that helped agents at any level in their game.
All of that raised me to the top of my game, and now my experience and my knowledge of the industry is most relevant to teaching you to master your game. I now clearly see how it all was my training camp for writing this course for you.
All of that agent training was necessary for me to arrive full circle at being this teacher for you. It taught me how to win big in the real estate game, but more importantly it has allowed me to teach you how to win big in your game. I love what I learned, but I’ll be honest. Learning all of those lessons cost me easily half a million dollars. I don’t want you to have to put in that kind of investment, or have to open your own office and raise a team, to get these lessons. That’s why I have now taken the step to launch realtor-specific online training courses. Every single course and lesson is based on practical learning from my own agent life and from years training other agents to build or transform their real estate approach from the ground up in order to win in the game. I’ve mastered the game and how to share the game’s best strategies.
Agent Renovation’s mission is to help you figure out and meet your goals without having to put in a mammoth investment in the game the way I did. I’ve created Agent Renovation so that you can quickly get laser focused on your real estate goals and how to execute them. I’ve put all the pieces together as a blueprint for you to follow step-by-step in your real estate game. You just need to follow along as if you’re working your way down a checklist, and then do the work.
I’m here with my story and my approach to remind you that it’s time to stop playing small in your real estate game.
Once you see real estate the way I do and approach it as a game, you will never again see your agent life in the same way again. Trust that you are about to put on a new pair of glasses that are never going to come off!
And when you put in the work and push through the difficult moments as you start out, trust me - the other side is worth it. I’m here to show you what is possible!
FAQ: Why Am I Sharing My Door Knocking Secrets?
Why am I sharing my door knocking secrets with you?
I’ve always felt bad for new agents. Real estate licensing teaches little about what to do once you are licensed. You are trained on so many things that do not directly apply to YOUR job. For example, mortgages. You’re trained on mortgages but you can’t actually talk about them. You aren’t a mortgage broker.
When you are preparing to become a real estate agent, you are not trained on actual prospecting. Yet, you need to learn how to generate actual business. But for that, standard training programs leave high and dry.
Unfortunately, there are so many online gurus with gimmick ideas. They might even promise you the moon. They know you want to make money. But I don’t want you to fall for any of these gimmicks. There is no shortcut to success. There’s simple ways to win the real estate game by doing the work. And I’ve learned that door knocking is one of the BEST ways to do the work. I want to share with you the power of door knocking, and how it can turn into massive sales. When you learn the door knocking game and its strategies, you’ll be able to level up your entire real estate game.
My mission is for you to become successful. I don’t want you to start and then fall out of the game because you don’t know how to play it. I want to save you from spinning your wheels while you try to get going. I’ve gone out, done the work, learned the lessons, and calculated the math. I can tell you how and what to do to get your next listing. I’ve tracked every step I’ve ever taken since day one. So now I can teach you how to replicate my processes and systems. I’m also going to teach you how to build a vision, strategize, and game play in every area so that you can execute your goals. With the Agent Renovation system and steps, I am here to save you your most valuable resources: time, energy, and money.
I want to teach what you don’t get anywhere else when you are learning to be an agent. I want to teach you the moves that I know are effective AND profit-producing. I don't want you to have to go through all of the trials and errors. I’ve already done that for you. Making mistakes is part of learning, but I want to save you some of the classic mistakes. I also want to save you the cost of these lessons. I’ve spent probably half a million dollars learning the lessons, but I don’t want YOU to have to learn the expensive way. I want you to start winning sooner so that you can build positive momentum forward. When done right, you’ll see that working in real estate can be very fulfilling.
Agent Renovation is full of winning strategies. When YOU work on what you learn here, IT will all work for you. And when you start winning, it will inspire you to keep going. And you’ll keep leveling up your game. And your life.
Consider me your go-to girl for gamified real estate and action plans! In this course, I’m giving you the tools to succeed. You’re getting real step-by-step strategies, checklists and tracking methods.
This course is going to give you what you’ve been missing so far in your game. Everyone else out there only gives you one piece of the puzzle at a time. And they usually don’t give you the piece you really need to win. They usually just teach you the same concepts again and again. No one is teaching you how to take action. Agent Renovation gives you action plans you can use to put dollars in your pocket. Because I really want you to win at your real estate game.
